Access Statement

This access statement has been prepared by the owner for your information; it is the most recent version and is reviewed from time to time.

This statement has been prepared as objectively and accurately as possible but we recognise that everyone has different requirements and it is important to ensure that all the crucial arrangements for a safe, enjoyable holiday are provided so if you have any queries please contact us.

The yurts are all raised and are set in a field on farmland.

There is parking near to the yurt and there are loose tarmac chippings as a surface. The area around the yurt is grassed but this is uneven and sloping in places.

There is a paved narrow path leading from the parking space to the yurt.

The entrance to the yurt is up a couple of steps - on to a decked area and then another to the doorway. There is only one entrance and it is on the ground level of the yurt. There are no specific handrails provided to aid access but there is a rail running around the edge of the decked area.

There is external lighting just above the door of the yurt which can be switched on from inside.

Inside the yurt walls are cream with wooden lattice over them and over the windows. The staircase and rafters are also wooden struts.

The flooring is red carpet or grey vinyl. The frames of the doors are pale wood and the internal walls are white and in the case of the bathroom and kitchen have a sparkle fleck effect.

With the exception of the galleried bedroom all ares are on the same level. The bathroom and ground floor bedroom have doors. This bedroom has a superking mattress on a divan.

There is no telephone provided. There is mobile signal which is patchy in the yurt but can be achieved within the vicinity. There is no wireless available but 3G can be found again within the vicinity of the yurt.

There is a freeview television and DVD player.

There is a carpeted staircase with 13 steps leading to a galleried bedroom. The headroom is restricted for much of the space. The sleeping arrangements are 30cm deep mattresses arranged on the floor which can be three singles or zipped together to form a superking and a single.

The site can be reached by public transport though the use of a bus to East Hoathly (3km) away and a taxi service to the farm.

We have a no pet policy but assistance dogs are welcome.
